Review of “The Dan Sullivan Question”

So when a guy writes a book about a question, and he names the question after himself, it’s kind of an eyebrow-raiser for me. But then I figured I kind of named my website and business after myself, so I made my peace with it.

“The Dan Sullivan Question” by Dan Sullivan was very good. The question itself can stimulate a great conversation, and Sullivan builds on the initial question with good follow ups. The question was created for a business context, but it can also work just on an interpersonal level.

I don’t want to spoil the book by giving the question away, but I don’t have to because it is such a fast read. I went through the entire book in one sitting. Admittedly, I was in an airport two hours early, then I had a three hour delay, but I really spent very little of that time on the book.

Dan Sullivan’s question is a great way to get to know someone you don’t know well, but you could also use it with your best friend. I was very pleased with the question–and the book.
